Baby earring photos
Well I am trying to babysit so amy can sleep while playing some music videos. Chloe and Claire wide awake so I am trying to sneak in here. I learned to push the stroller inside house against waster and lock wheels it rocks them right to bed

sitting here scared to do anything because all I hear is constant baby grunting no crying yet but still what do I do once I turn on tv go smoke whatever I know they will start screaming amy is counting on my babysitting skills to sleep right now

Baby doctor and ear piercing
Amy hana and Ivan all took the baby to the doctor for a checkup and ear piercing yeah! I did not get to see all the fun but I heard especially claire did not like it. She resorted to not breathing turning red and screaming like a banchee. Amy felt so bad she had to have hana do it. My dad rattled a toy in her ear as the doctor said the shot will not hurt because of anesthetics however they get really scared because it is like a gun going off next to your head.
So by taking the toy and shaking it in the babies other ear you divert some of the soon to come high level of panic.
They look very cute with there little earrings no photos yet but soon they will come. Amy is very very tired from a long day of doing all of this keeping the house up and general lack of sleep that babies cause she went to bed at 8:30pm. I am not officially babysitting for a couple of hours. I am a bit scared when the anesthetics wear off they may start screaming so I highly advised she goes to bed early and get rest while I am still awake.
We are missing our friday night together but it is best this way. The house looks great amy is in great spirits lately I think she needed children to complete some strange hole that women have for babies.
Claire is still much fatter then chloe by exactly a pound which for babies is a lot. She however is holding her head up much better and moving around much better then skinny little chloe.
Claire is 10 lbs 1 oz and Chloe is now 9 lbs 1 oz

Blog post challenge
The date today September 2, 2010. Too early to start a New Year’s resolution, I don’t think so
Today I am challenging myself to do something new, I plan to write a blog post EVERYDAY until New Years Day January 1, 2011. So about a four month commitment of blog posting everyday, no exceptions. I know this is a crazy task to take on, I mean I do have 10 week old twin newborns but I feel that this is something that will give me a little reprieve from the day, even if just to vent HELP HELP HELP!!! Raising twins is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me and also the most overwhelming thing as well. Each night I go to bed with no doubt in my mind that I worked my ass off that day and gave it all 100% Each morning I wake up reminiscing of when sleep wasn’t a luxury but a something taken for granted and then I quickly go 
into determination mode. So I think this challenge will be good for me, will force me to take a time out if nothing else and hey maybe somebody out there will give a shit about what I have to say in the meantime Day one complete! -Amy -

Woke up this morning to DHL emergency ticket fumbling my computer tired as hell then babies starting crying and two extrenely shitty diapers and crying babies. Needless to say amy got up to help but wow what a way to start a day. Off to work

Trip to doctor ended with a good episode of true blood
Amy hana and Ivan all headed to the baby neurologist to get stuff checked out. The things they make you do with babies here jesus! Special hip doctors nuerologist several visits to pediatrician aye aye yah.
Amy also had to head back to the office to get our baby bonus money that is why hana and my dad came along. We finally got approved after jumping through some hoops. Amy had to goto the foreign police to get some paperwork filled out and they told us it would take one month and we had to have 15 crowns(1.25 dollars) when we came to pick it up. Amy had her 15 crowns ready but it had to be in some special stamp so they could put on the paper that we paid it. Amy had to leave there to goto a post office to give them 15 crowns then go back to pay it. HAHA 15 crowns come on.
When it comes to rules and silly things czechs do that is one of them. I remember once I went to pharmacy to pickup my special ordered baby food I got 6 big boxes and the lady handed me some dinky ass bag that would not hold them all. As I do not have a car had to goto work then all the way home I put everything in this bag and asked her for another one. Like a bag nazi she opened a drawer filled with bags and gave me the smallest one available. I had to sit at her counter and repack all of my baby food to accomodate this stupid situation and gave her many a funny looks.
Then today I saw a lady give a cashier a bill that had about a quarter centimeter rip in it and the cashier would not take it. I could not believe what I was seeing again!
It is not a joke when I say customer service here sucks. People are generally very rude expesially with customer service. We were reading expats.cz and someone said they asked a grocery store person if they would be getting more milk the next day and the person said I dont know why dont you come back tomorrow and look.
Very funny shit really you kind of get used to it unfortunetly I have had this weird anxiety thing since I have moved here and very shy for some reason and for those who know me that is a strange trait but lately I have been trying to share my good personality with people but it really gets hard sometimes.
Ok back to the topics in the subject. It is nice our babies are getting such good care and close to free I must say it is a great feeling. Amy went out for the first trip by herself to meet hana at the office. The stroller is very large but someone offered to help her right away before the bus even came. When it comes to that stuff czech people are very kind so I am never worried about amy heading out by herself but it is still rather daunting getting this monster stroller on a bus.
It takes up most the room on the bus and you have to get it turned just right. I miss the american life of having a car but do not miss the costs that a car accumalutes with repairs gas monthly payments insurance taxes etc.
Yep then I got home tonight cleaned the house up started laundry amy ran dog today and wow chloe was just awake tonight. Has not slept since I been home until well not which it is 10pm. So we watched true blood but she was a good baby just entertained herself for the most part and well we watched the greatest show ever together and I am weeping as the season is almost over. I am a huge true blood fanboy and for those who do not like it or have not seen it well you either suck or your unfortunate.
It even has the best intro EVER!

A lot has been going on skipping so much things about our life with these two little rascals. Amy has not smoked now for over 300 days and it is important to me that she uses the money she would have smoked for something enjoyable. She has that much money to do whatever she wants with! She uses it for a coke here and there going out to lunch however she used most of it for a baby sling. and a light toy.
We already had a sling but we just did not like that one much it is complicated and the babies do not seem that comfortable. This is similiar to the one we bought. I still do not mind our other sling but the babies need to be in the right mood and I am a paranoid skitz about them breathing properly so I am always moving the baby and checking on the baby.
Amy also bought some light thing that shoots stuff on the ceiling makes noises lights up and is sound activated to make noise and light up if baby is making noise. It also has a remote control to do stuff. I have not really seen it yet as the day was chaotic yesterday.
I do recommend a nice sling to anybody with a baby we actually found one just like ours for sale on expats.cz that we are going to try to pickup some time this week.
We were out of money for groceries until the new month so we could not go shopping over the weekend kanye was out of food and runnign low on baby formula. I had monday off work for amy’s appointment so we were eating ramen noodles and a lot of nothing hehe.
I usually grab stuff on my lunchbreak that will fit in my laptop backpack but I had to get dog food so last night I ran to a little store and got some random crap for amy to eat last night and today. Today I need to pickup 6 box’s of baby food that I ordered from the pharamacy so I will not be able to bring much for us then tomorrow I will be able to get some more food for us. I rather enjoy going to the grocery store each day because then you get really fresh meat, bread and vegetables every day.
Ok baby is waking up so I better get to it good bye

baby trip to dads
Amy and I headed over to my dads via public transportation and let me tell you that is a bitch on the weekends he lives way out in BFE so it takes a long time. Even though we followed the websites timeframe we still missed the last bus and were set back 45 minutes. It really was not too bad though the busses keep the babies quiet and got us out of the house.
It was an alright trip and chloe and claire acted great. They are really starting to show themselves being able to stay awake and entertain themselves much better. It makes caring for them so much more enjoyable because th worse thing about having two newborns is the fact that they can not handle life yet. Now they can look around and play a bit.
Claire still is sleeping a lot however when she is awake and happy she is very cute. Her eyes are very very large and she really looks around and is interested in things. She is very whiny most the time when she is awake. I think she sleeps so much and has put on so much weight because she just is not ready to deal with life yet. She is still caught up with chlose when she is awake can stand up sorta play with toys focus’s on you when you walk around etc so I am not worried about her.
Chloe is like a very anxiety filled she will entertain herself but start flailing her arms and legs around so fast until she cries. She likes to sleep for 10 minutes wake up and be wide awake and enjoys really just playing and looking around the house. She is not much into that thing called sleep
Amy is out at foreign police and is now going to a restaurant I am giving her a day off and caring for the babies. They have been pretty easy today fortunetly.
